Patient Care Philosophy
I aim to provide trauma informed care, collaborating with my patients to help them reach their vision of health, as defined by them. I am particularly passionate about providing gender affirming hormones; gynecologic care such as irregular bleeding, peri/menopause concerns, and pelvic pain; and sexual and reproductive health such as STI testing/treatment, HIV treatment and prevention, and birth control, including IUDs and Nexplanon. I have a particular interest in care for the LGBTQIA+ population.Â
Why I Work Here
It's an honor to carry on the legacy of community care started by the Black Panthers. My personal values are in alignment with our mission of providing high quality care, regardless of ability to pay, and I love working with colleagues who are as diverse as the patients we have the privilege of caring for.
Well Being Philosophy
Outside the clinic, things that bring me joy include cuddles and ball throws with my Corgi, Blue, spending time in nature, reading a good fantasy book, being in community, and trying new foods.
