Patient Care Philosophy

I was drawn to family medicine because of the opportunity to care for people during all stages and transitions in life. I relish getting to know people’s stories and forging a partnership with patients to achieve their health goals.

Why I Work Here

I love coming to work alongside such a dedicated group of individuals who make up the Carolyn Downs family. In addition to my clinical time, I’m also the residency site director for six Swedish Cherry Hill Family Medicine Residents, who complete their three years of training at Carolyn Downs. It’s such a privilege that our clinic family can be a part of training future generations of social justice-minded physicians.

Well Being Philosophy

I’m a northwesterner, born and raised, so time outdoors is important. I also have managed to miss only one season of softball since I was 12 years old (darn knee surgery!).
