We provide high-quality, judgment-free care to all. Our mission is to improve the health of our community by providing high quality, caring, culturally appropriate primary health care that addresses the needs of people, regardless of their ability to pay.
But we can’t do that without the generosity of organizations and individuals that support our patients. That’s where you come in.
Our roots are based in the Civil Rights and anti-Vietnam War movements of the 1960s and ‘70s. Our founders put their lives on the line as anti-war activists and comrades for the Black Panther Party. When their communities requested affordable, quality health care, our founders met the challenge and created two clinics that – with your generosity – continue to help thousands and thousands of patients every year.
