Medical Care
Medicaid and Apple Health patients: You are welcome here!
Your health is our #1 priority. We provide the same state-of-the-art care to everyone in our community, regardless of ability to pay, nationality or immigration status, with or without insurance. Since the early 1970s, we’ve seen thousands of patients, sometimes multiple generations of the same families.
Your health care team captain at CDCHC will be your primary care provider (PCP). If you need a specialist or additional support, your PCP will guide you through that process. See the Choose Your Provider page to find a provider for you!
Who We Treat
We welcome patients from every lifestyle, sexual or gender expression, community and nationality. We heartily welcome all traditional and non-traditional patients, including families and children, people from every country and lifestyle, those with or without insurance or Medicaid, just out of incarceration, or currently homeless. We also offer PrEP — an HIV prevention medication – and substance use management. Our staff work hard to ask every patient their preferred name and pronoun. If you prefer you may pre-register online in the privacy of your home. Gender neutral bathrooms are easily available.

Country Doctor, Carolyn Downs and our After Hours Clinic are all safe havens. We will never ask about immigration status or residency. Taking care of you and your health is our only concern.
We speak your language!
We’ve treated patients who speak dozens of languages. If we don’t have an on-site provider or interpreter, we can access one on demand for any service, including counseling and behavioral health. Deaf and hard-of-hearing patients call the Washington State TDD Relay Service at (800) 833-6384.
