The story of Carolyn Down's advocacy for her community inspires me. Her life and good works ended too soon due to systematic inequities. I strive to contribute to her mission by providing quality health care for everyone we serve and also by working with community members outside of the clinic.

My favorite health advice is anything from my grandmother. Each culture has traditional healing practices that are just as valuable as modern medicine. I love to spend time with my family, and I use that experience to care for other families as their doctor.
