SMS/Text Messaging Terms & Conditions
Seattle Roots uses text messaging to communicate with patients regarding appointment reminders, healthcare reminders, prescription refill reminders, care coordination, and information about programs and services that may benefit you. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of receiving healthcare services. Participation is voluntary; however, opting out may prevent us from sending you timely updates regarding your care.
Message frequency may vary.
Message and data rates may apply.
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Text messages sent via SMS and RCS channels are not fully secure and may not be HIPAA-compliant. However, Seattle Roots takes reasonable precautions to protect your privacy by limiting text messages to non-sensitive notifications. Any communications containing detailed Protected Health Information (PHI) will be delivered through a separate secure messaging channel.
You may opt out of receiving text messages at any time by replying STOP. You will receive a final confirmation message verifying that you have been unsubscribed, and no further text messages will be sent.
If you wish to resume receiving text messages, you may opt back in by replying START or by providing authorization through Seattle Roots.
For assistance, reply HELP or contact Seattle Roots.
By opting in to receive text messages from Seattle Roots, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to these Terms & Conditions.
