Patient Care Philosophy
I learn from my patients all the time, and I carry their stories and experiences with me every day. From them, I’ve learned to appreciate humility, curiosity, inspiration, and determination. What really drives me about my job on a personal level is getting to know individual people and having the chance to see them evolve over many years. For instance, I’ve had the privilege of being present for a single family through births and losses, accomplishments and tragedies.
Why I Work Here
I enjoy working in a profession and within an organization that I believe can be a catalyst for social justice and change within our community. I see the patient-provider relationship as a team, where each has a vital role to play. On a societal level, I’m driven by the need to dramatically transform our healthcare system and take on societal inequities head-on.
Well Being Philosophy
To maintain my own health, I enjoy running, biking, reading, and playing with my young children.
