Patient Care Philosophy

I try to approach health care in a compassionate and non-judgmental way, partnering with my patients to make decisions about their health. I believe in listening to my patients and empowering them to make changes that feel good. I view health as encompassing one’s body, mind, family, community and society.

Why I Work Here

Compassionate and comprehensive health care is a right, and I love being part of an organization with deep ties to the surrounding community and roots to health equity in its mission. I value the relationships I’ve developed over time with all my patients, whether I see them weekly or yearly.

Well Being Philosophy

Going to the doctor should be enjoyable – this is your time to focus on you and your health in an accepting and caring environment. The doctor-patient relationship should be about trust, acceptance, honesty, shared decision-making. And humor!
