Patient Care Philosophy
It is essential that patients feel and know they are cared for. I believe in providing patient-centered care that honors each individual's unique experiences, values, and strengths. My approach is rooted in compassion, respect, and collaboration. I strive to create an inclusive, nonjudgmental space where patients feel empowered to explore challenges and make meaningful changes. Grounded in a commitment to lifelong learning, I tailor interventions to meet each person's goals while honoring their autonomy, empowering them to access their inner wisdom, gain insight, and learn new skills to support new pathways of being and liberation.
Why I Work Here
The history of these clinics and the mission of Seattle Roots align with my values. Healthcare is a right, not a privilege. It is inspiring to work alongside providers who are committed to exceptional care for those they serve, and it is a joy to collaborate within a team-based care model.
Well Being Philosophy
A place that makes us feel seen, heard, and cared for significantly enhances our wellbeing.
Everyone has specific needs that contribute to their wellness, and honoring each individual's needs is essential.
Engaging in creativity is vital to my wellbeing. As a creative arts-based therapist, I understand, both personally and professionally, the profound nature of externalizing our stories, allowing for new perspectives and liberation. In my personal life, I paint, knit, throw pottery, and am open to trying new avenues of creativity! Connection also contributes to my wellness, and spending quality time with those I love is a gift I cherish. Spending time in nature and feeling a sense of awe uplifts my spirits and allows me to expand. Practicing gratitude has been vital to my wellness and mental health.
