I strongly believe that adequate primary care is essential to the health of communities and provides me with the opportunity to truly get to know my patients. The healthcare system is challenging to navigate, and I look forward to helping my patients navigate it well while partnering with each individual to improve their health. The stark healthcare disparities I observed in my own community and family inspired me to become a physician. Therefore, I am committed to investing in marginalized and underserved communities.

Carolyn Downs Family Medical Center has an extensive legacy of advocacy that strongly resonates with me. I am excited to be surrounded by physicians passionate about providing full-spectrum care and going beyond the walls of the clinic to meet their patients’ needs.

Wellbeing takes so many different forms, and I hope to support each of my patients’ wellbeing journeys. For me, it can look like doing dance fitness, playing tennis, or spending time in my church community. I always try to remember to maintain my physical, mental, and spiritual health.
