Why I Work Here

I have been a resident of the Central District since 1993, and I lived in Central America for some years in the 1980s. I feel a special connection to current and former CD neighbors, Spanish speakers, and immigrants. I am committed to supporting all people as they learn to better advocate for themselves and their good health.

I believe strongly in prevention, and shared problem solving and decision making. Health is a team sport, and we need each other to thrive.
